A gunman fatally shot a Brooklyn man – and wounded his neighbor – over a long-running feud, police said.

Michael Daley, 33, was shot in the chest about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the driveway outside his home on E. 78th St. near Flatlands Ave. in Canarsie.

His landlord, 39, was also shot in the arm, shoulder and the groin, but survived, police said.

Daley was tinkering with his car radio and his landlord had just fixed a leak in Daley’s basement apartment when three men approached. An argument broke out, and one of the men pulled a gun and opened fire.

Despite his wounds, the landlord staggered across the street and collapsed on a neighbors stoop, said police. Daley staggered down the driveway and collapsed near the yard.

The shooter and the victims knew each other from the neighborhood, and the attack was part of an ongoing dispute, said a police source.

"They are known to each other, and it’s an ongoing beef that has been going back and forth," said a police source.

Distraught family members said Daley was an innocent victim.

"He was in the wrong place at the wrong time," said one family member who asked not to be identified.

She said Daley was a father of two who worked two jobs, including one with Autistic children.

She said he was about to move from the neighborhood.

Police were still hunting for the gunman on Thursday.
